Connections are vital to the survival of steel and composite framed structures in fire. To prevent brittle failure connections at elevated temperatures, a novel connection with high ductility has been proposed previously. In this paper, fire performance ductile frames is investigated. order consider influence out-of-plane structural behaviour, 3-D models compartment typical structure different types, including connection, idealised rigid pinned connections, as well commonly used end-plate web-cleat have built using Vulcan compare other types. Comparison results show that can provide additional within frame accommodate axial deformation connected beam temperatures. further save computational costs, model reduced quarter its original size by symmetric boundaries.
