Connections are vital to the survival of steel and composite framed structures in fire. To prevent brittle failure connections at elevated temperatures, a novel connection with high ductility has been proposed previously. In this paper, fire performance ductile frames is investigated. order consider influence out-of-plane structural behaviour, 3-D models compartment typical structure different types, including connection, idealised rigid pinned connections, as well commonly used end-plate web-cleat have built using Vulcan compare other types.
